Title: OC with Gigabyte z68xp-ud3 and U1j UEFI
Post by: Freddie on October 08, 2013, 12:40:37 pm
Hi,

before my "upgrade" to U1j  UEFI from BIOS I had a stable clock of 4.8ghz with my i5 2500k below 1.3v.
Now with the U1j UEFI I can't get a stable clock of more than 4ghz, no matter what voltage I try (tried up to 1.35v).

Does anyone know why or how to fix this?

If there is no fix, is there any "safe" way to go back to the legacy BIOS?

Kind Regards,
Freddie

You really have to post this over on the OC forum. Plus you are dealing with a bios that yes they made it for this board.

But the older MB's were not really made to support these bios. This is a big change for the board and you might always have problem with any bios update.

Alright, I'll do that. Thank you for your response.
