Title: 970A-UD3 ~ Booting "Problem" After Disabling CPB
Post by: cyber_john on October 11, 2013, 07:00:29 pm
Every time I disable the Core Perfomance Boost, the pc shuts down immediately after booting (or restarting) for 2-3 seconds, then boots up normally & everything is fine. This is really frustrating, can u plz fix it with a BIOS update?

There are people who want OCing and this feature must be deactivated, it's unacceptable for me to experience such an issue with each booting. Unless there is a solution in some other option, if there is any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

I doubt if another bios update is coming out for this board anytime soon if at all. If you have questions about overclocking that board you can use search function of forum to look for other threads that might help you or post in overclocking section.

In order to have a decent overclock you must disable all power saving features as in APM and so on.

The board is not great. The BIOS has bugs in more aspects.
Use it as it is.
Maybe it s CPU voltage related.Try and adjust that until you find the sweet spot.
