Bear with me please, this has been a problem for MONTHS now, so I hope you guys can help me.
First off, components:
cpu: AMD FX-6300
mobo: Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 RMA'd --> Returned to me in "working condition"??
gpu: MSI Radeon HD 7850 Twin Frozr RMA'd---> XFX 7870 Double-D
ram: G.Skill DDR3-2133 2x4gb
psu: Seasonic X750 RMA'd---> Corsair AX760
hdd: Hitachi 500gb 2.5in (from Macbook Pro)
os: Windows 7
case: Corsair 650D
- Every time I install the graphics card drivers (tried most recent and oldest drivers I could find) I get BSOD (116) http://imgur.com/PKwTagT,8r9xo9V
- Updated BIOS to latest Rev.
- The graphics card has been tested in a different machine and it works just fine.
Here's more to the story over at LTT: https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/12765-bsod-after-graphics-card-driver-installation/
Does anyone have any idea what could be going on??
Please help me!

Download and install driver sweeper used to bree might still be or have a trial. Download drivers from manufacture site or newest from AMD whichever you want. Uninstall all drivers thru control panel or using the AMD uninstall manager.
Restart in safe mode which is usually tapping the F8 key when starting windows. Once you are started in safemode run driversweeper and uninstall the rest of the amd graphics drivers. Restart and install new drivers. This has been in the past a known fix as this is a driver problem used to get that error alot myself. Worked for me hope it works for you.

Thank you for the reply. But that is one of the first things I tried.. no luck.

Have you tried a fresh install of windows. I hate to do it myself but that might be your next step to rule out any software problems.

Fresh install then try again.
Catalyst 13.4 or the beta 13.10b2 are/were ok on my configs.
And test the RAM as bsod goes there.
