Title: Can I have 2 separate RAID 0 arrays?

Hi Everyone:

I currently have 2 SSD's in a RAID 0 array, they are both plugged into my two 2 SATA-3.0 ports. This is my "C" drive and it works fine.

I want to add another (separate) RAID 0 array, with 2 HDD's plugged into two of my four SATA-2.0 ports. I want this to be my "D" drive.

When I enter the RAID BIOS to configure the second RAID array, the option to select disks is greyed out and it appears my only option is to place all 4 disks in a single RAID 0 array. The RAID BIOS lists all four drives correctly; it apparently won't let me have more than just one RAID array.

Thoughts? ???

GA-Z68A-D3H-B3 rev. 1 w/ F13 BIOS
Intel Core 5- 2500K 3.3 GHZ cpu
Gigabyte AMD Radeon HD 6870
16GB RAM (4x4)
2- Vertex 120GB SSD drives (RAID 0)
2- Seagate 1TB HDD drives, 7200RPM, 64MB Cache (currently D: and F:)
Windows 7 Pro 64-bit

You can't have two raid-0. You have to have raid-0 and raid-1.

Yes- I neglected to mention the RAID BIOS would allow a RAID 1 array with the four drives, as well as a RAID 0.
