hello, i can't seem to find a gigabit ethernet option in the bios
also, the bios is not full screen and says that it cant change the resolution, i dont know why.
BIOS version is F5 and my specs are: intel i5 4670K, 8Gb Kingston RAM at 2400MHz and GTX 560 Ti.
if i enable gigabit in windows it wont see the network cable and say its unplugged. all drivers and hardware are up to date and capable of gigabit ethernet.
Can anyone help?

in bios setup, you don't need to set anything.
if you connect lan cable on lan port, you will get gigabit lan.

That's what I would say. It is however the only problem I've got. If I leave it on auto it only detects 100 full duplex, if I select 1000 full duplex it says the cable is unplugged.
All drivers are installed and everything else is working.

The rest of your network needs to be gigabit too, your network will only go as fast as the slowest part of your network. I'd guess you're not using a gigabit switch or router.
