Hi just setup a very very low budget pc last night for my family just to browse the web.
I hose the H55 S2H, and sadly i got Memory from OCz 1800Mhz 1,95v.
The board would crash, reset etc running the memory at only 1333mhz nd 1.5v.
For sure i didnt wanna overclock the i3 as it would be useless for the ppl who would use it, so i increased the memory volt to 1.65(purpled) and everything runs like a cream with linx test no errors etc.
So my question is will the motherboard continue to operate a long long time with 1.65v or am i pushing it a lot. thanks.

Hi
Do you mean H55M-S2H ?

Shouldn't be any problem, the only harm could be to RAM modules but as they are designed to work @ 1.95V then definitely no worry as you haven't crossed this limit yet.

Hi yes its the H55M S2H sorry i missed the M out.
Ok just asking as im not sure of the limits of those low end budget mobos.
:)

sure there's no harm for memory sticks as they go up to 1.95v but its the mobo's limits im worried hah.
dont have to worry abt those kind of stuff on my ud7 though lol

don't worry m8, it's OK in this configuration

thanks both "Beekeeper" and "runn3R".
i was just wondering s nb heatsink gets quite hot anyways, and didnt really sit down to study how much thois mobo and its components can handle.
i seem to be ok then as i need this pc to be trouble free.
thnx again!
