Title: GA-MA790GPT-UD3H AM3+ Support
Post by: xsaraa on November 21, 2013, 02:12:20 pm
Hello,

Does any of you have an AM3+ processor on this kind of mobo?

Under the supported processor list, there's ONLY ONE AM3+ processor, and I questioning why only that, and if the other AM3+ processors will work on this mobo?

Thank you,
Alex.

If it is on the list it will work if it isnt on the list dont try it. There is a reason gigabyte makes a cpu and memory list. Generally you have more le way with memory with the cpu list sometimes and i mean very few times it will work. Isnt worth the headache to get a cpu that isnt sertified.
