Title: PCIEX 1X apears to not work in ga-Z77x-UP4 TH

can't get work any expanssion card on PCIEX 1x slots
except if the card having their power supply connector

any one can help on this issue?

how about other pcie slot?
all pcie slots are occupied?

my expansion cards:

Saphire HD 5770 Vapor-X (obviously with their power supply connector)
PCIe USB 2.0 5ports Nec chipset (with power supply connector)
PCIe 3x Firewire ports 1394a Texas Instruments chipset (with power supply connector)
PCIe Atheros WiFi

the point is, I can not figure which are the better configuration in motherboard slots

I noticed Atheros WiFi (it have no power supply connector) doesn't work in to PCIEX1 slots
same as Nec USB or TI 1394a without their power supply connectors
