Got a h87 and new haswell i5 4670 I sysprep my windows 7 and swapped out my old mobo for the new
But now when I boot I get the mobo splash screen and a single beep to confirm it's ok and then nothing it's blank
I barebones the set up so it's not my gfx card or ram. Though I am connecting via hdmi if that might be an issue
I think it's the hd drive not booting but everytime I try to get into boot menu nothing happens :(

Just in case anyone else has this problem or similar.
The issue was that both the mobo itself and my gfx card (hd. 7870) couldn't display the right resolution with my Samsung HDTV via hdmi for the bios menu as a result I kept getting a blank screen.
I used my old gfx card (a gt560ti) to be able to boot and do the entire sysprep process.
Hopefully when finished I can just swap back and finish the build.

Have you tried the on board HDMI connection on the board to see if that works. Did you use your older card on the new MB.
Or did you just put all the old stuff back in. I have been using ATI card on two HDTV for years with out any problems.
