is there a way to downgrade the BIOS on a F2A88XM-HD3 ?
Tried q-flash and @bios but both say I cannot do it

Well if you can get the back up bios to kick in that will solve that problem. Try to oc it to high and maybe the back up bios will kick in. this is from gigabytes product page.
GIGABYTE motherboards feature GIGABYTE DualBIOS™, an exclusive technology from GIGABYTE that protects arguably one of your PC's most crucial components, the BIOS. GIGABYTE DualBIOS™ means that your motherboard has both a 'Main BIOS' and a 'Backup BIOS', making users protected from BIOS failure due to virus attack, hardware malfunction, improper OC settings or power failure during the update process.

can't oc as i don't have a k series cpu. all i can do is increase the bclk but when i turn this up to maximum the pc still works fine.
i've tried flashing with current bios and resetting half way through but even this won't corrupt it.
going to admit defeat and get another board - NOT gigabyte
