Have you tried it without the profile. I have a X79-UD3 & x79-UP4 and I can't use the profile. They both will BSOD.
-
Look at how this guy has his x79-UP4 board setup it should all most the same.

Still can only boot at 1866 ,overclocked and saw 2200 but no way to boot past 1866 so far, suggestions?

When mine was BSOD I was trying to set it with the profile. I was doing it wrong.
I followed what the guy I sent you link too. I have mine set the same way and it has run about 24 hrs with out a BSOD.
This how I have mine setup:
Extreme memory profile (X.M.P.): Profile 1
System memory Multiplier : - 21.33 - Auto
Memory Frequency (mhz): - 2133mhz – 2133mhz
DRR Voltage 1.60
Vit Voltage 1.05
Plus you board should run that memory with out OC. Plus are you just setting the speed or are trying to set the timings too. Just leave the timings at default settings.
-
Using stock timings, Profile 1 will not boot so far but im not OC'ing my CPU,Voltage 1.65, but I have never tried setting the profile and running 2133 timings.
-
Just set the profile to #1 & the system memory Multiplier to auto and should pick everything up to the right speed.
-
Thats the first thing I tried and that won't work.but not at 2133, I 'll give that a go.
-
No that doesn't work either, load any XMP Profile and it's a no boot, can manually set it to 1866Mhz or OC in Easy tune and it brings it up to 2218Mhz and boots no problem?
-
It sounds like it just doesn't like that memory and at that speed. Now today I booted to wnidow 8.1 and got a BSOD.
Windows 7 has been running and playing games with no problems. I have had problems with the profiles before too.
-
To be honest I'ts not a real big issue everything runs perfect except that ,it boots fine and is stable with this OC and 2208Mhz is certaintly fast enough.Nice board now I just have to figure out how 3D power works?Thanx for your help on this, thinking of buying another set of Ram and seeing what happens?
-
Any time and try the 2133 ram too.
