Title: GA-H67MA-UDH2 - faulty Intel 6 series chipset
Post by: borozu on January 15, 2014, 07:08:57 am
Hello to everyone!

I have problem with my MB - GA-H67MA-UDH2 ( rev. 1.0 ). Recently i just got know that unfortunately it has faulty intel 6 chipset. My DVD-ROM DRIVE wasn't able to burn a CD, computer was starting randomly. A lot of errors etc. I just can't use my computer normally.

I found a solution on GB site to use SATA3 ports - it worked but i need more than 2 SATA slots, i need to use SATA2 ports but obviously i can't so solution isn't work for me for long time. Need to do something with it.

And the question: Is there any chance, that GB will replace my faulty motherboard? I haven't got any warranty any more :(

And one more thing, those faulty ports destroyed  C7 and C8 parameter on my HDD...

If the board is out of warranty the only thing you can try. Get a PCI Express Internal SATA Controller Card
