I came home today to find my new computer unable to connect to the internet. There are not lights on the motherboard LAN port. I rebooted the router and modem to see it did not help.

So far I've:
- reflashed the F7 bios
- updated to the F8c bios
- uninstalled and reinstalled the i217-v drivers
- updated the the i217-v drivers to the latest one found on Intel's site
- reinstalled my windows 8.1 OS
- repeated above steps
Anyone else have the same issues with this motherboard?
I've also tried this....

Solution:
So I took out the cmos batter to reset the bios. That got my LAN port working again!!!!
