Title: G1 assassin 2 bios f12w to F12y don't work with GTX770 in "Legacy mode"

My problem is the following

When I put my GTX770 bios on a F12W up a Bios F12y the "Legacy Only" does not work, it does not detect my graphics card
With Bios F12L there is no problem, the pc running smoothly.

I want to access the bios f12y for my G.Skill 2400 Mhz work properly.

When I put a 4300 series AMD, there s any problem detection "Legacy Only"

I'm using Win7 64bit, I did not need UEFI

The problem is that when you set the bios to legacy that card will not boot. That card is a UEFI card and that is why you need it set to UEFI.

If you want to run the 4300 series card you should have it set to legacy. All GTX-700 series are UEFI.

with Bios F12y

1 I used the card for 4300 series access bios
2  Then I put in Legacy Mode
3 I backup the BIOS
3  I put my GTX770
4 I boot
5  but it does not work, windows 7 64 bit does not work.




will it be possible to have a F12Y Bios Legacy default mode?

With Bios F12L
I note with the same manipulation I get to run my GTX770 card under Win 7 64 Bit in Legacy mode

When you setup the bios do you have it set to EFI or Legacy. Plus have you tried it both ways too.

this morning , with bios F12y ...

I have put

in pci-e1 the amd series 4300
in pci-e2 the GTX770

I have set priority Pci-e2 in bios in legacy mode

the Motherbord boot to the first Pcie  ???

witch difference betwin the F12l and the F12y ???

If you getting the Bios from Tweaktown ask them. Plus if the 770 card runs on F12y in the EFI mode why do you want it to run Legacy?

I don't understand what you are trying to do. If you trying to use one of these cards for Nvidia PhysX Memory than you have the cards backwards.

I have a G.skill 2400Mhz , only F12y can run correctly my DDR3.

I have Try F12y with AMD series 4300 and the XMP run correctly at 2400mhz
