I have just recently flashed my BIOS to 12e as I was having a few problems.
However I need to get into the BIOS to set my ram speed but my Qpad keyboard doesn't get any power until after the windows loading screen meaning I can't enter the BIOS.
I switched to the other BIOS with the little switch and can enter into it fine.
I thought I would get around this with a usb to ps/2 converter however there is no ps/2 connection on this board...
Is there anything I can do or should I just flash back to f11?
Many thanks
Nick

resetting cmos should enable usb at bootup

It's a brand new flash so essentially it has been reset, I shall give it a bash though.

Just tried to do that and had to turn off and switch to other bios as after a cmos reset I have to select boot with ***** and I couldn't even select yes.
It must be something to do with my kb and that bios though as my mouse is powered up and I switched the kb and mouse usb ports and it didn't make any difference.

Just to clear this thread up. Basically f12e doesn't like some keyboards. A borrowed basic cheapo usb keyboard did the trick perfectly so if anyone else has the same issue that is a quick fix.
