I'm not sure if this can be accomplished using the on board RAID controller, but here goes.
Can I assign 2 disks to be in a RAID configuration without effecting the other disks? Here is what I'm thinking:
SATA Port 0: Boot SSD (Linux)
SATA Port 1: 2TB HD Files
SATA Port 2: 2TB HD Media
SATA Port 3: 2TB Backup
SATA Port 4: Intel SSD, RAID 0, disk 1
SATA Port 5: Intel SSD, RAID 0, disk 2
Obviously I only want two drives to make up my RAID array since I have a need for some non RAID drives. Is this possible or would I need a dedicated RAID controller?
Thanks

yes it is possible but can i ask why you want to RAID 2 SSDs? tests have shown there's no significant performance boost with SSDs in RAID

I have 2 SSD's laying around that are not being used. Plus I need around 900-1000 MB/Sec for uncompressed video.
