Title: Z87MX-D3H mobo front panel header question.
Post by: downunder on January 27, 2014, 04:15:26 am
Just finished wiring my very first build and there are two Power LED pin connections on the FP mobo header: PLED/PWR_LED

I am assuming I can use either for the FP LED.  Is this correct? Why are there two different pin connections?

thanks

OK answer is Gigabyte mobos use the old-style 3-pin LED connector and the modern 2-pin (separate pins) Got from Whirlpool Australia.

Yes they are still using the standard pins for the power light on the front of the case 3 pins purple.
