Title: Gigabyte EP43T-UD3L
Post by: ashbocking on February 28, 2010, 09:24:15 am
I am fitting this board to a new case CM Storm Scout.  Can anyone please tell me what the difference is between sys fan and pwr fan.

Ummmm as far as I know.........None except the 3 pin and 4 pin config (which have speed control). They both supply +12v.

Thanks Fatman.  I note that sys_fan 2 is 4pin, and sys fan_1 and pwr_fan are both 3 pin (so no speed control on them).  I just wondered why they call them different names if they both do the same thing.
