Title: X79-UD3 unable to update BIOS

Hi all on GB Forum,

Currently I am running on F10 bios version on this MoBo.

I tried to update Bios via Q-flash from within the Bios with Bios version F16.

However, it states that F16 Bios is out of date and that I should go back to Gigabyte website for a more updated Bios version.

As you know on the website the only version Bios available for this MoBo is the F16 version BIOS.

Anyone got any suggestions?

sounds like you have revision 1.1 borad.  in which case, the latest BIOS is F18

It's clear state:

"(Note) Please update @BIOS to ver.2.33 and be sure to reflash this BIOS through @BIOS ver2.33. "

Contact Gigabyte support.  I suspect its a driver that has to be updated before updating to a later BIOS rev,  Rev 1.0 uses F16.  1.1 uses F18.  The rev number of your board is printed near its lower left corner.
