Title: Z77X-D3H with 3tb Hard Disk
Post by: hamiksu on February 08, 2014, 03:00:29 pm
Good evening..

As per subject, I have just recently bought a 3tb Hard disk and after installation of Windows 7 x64,
it shows that I can only use 2tb of hard disk space with 700 plus gb of hard disk space that is un-allocated.

can anyone tell me how I can get to use the full 3tb of hard disk space?

thank you.

I have read around that I can format the hard disk in Gbt format so as to utilize the full 3tb but it also states that can only happen if my motherboard can go UEFI. so I am wondering whether my board can or by flashing the latest BIOS update,  I can enable this function or something.

Anyone?

P. S:- my hard disk is a western digital.
