Title: GTx 780 ti issue

basically it says my bus speed is 2.0 but its not it runs at 3, my 2 7970s ran at 3 and my r 290x ran at 3 but this says only 2 any ideas

Hi,

Well it might be very simple: I had similar experience with my GF after I have swapped from a Radeon - GF enters PCI-E 3.0 only when GPU is under load.
Download AIDA64 and open system information - graphics - you shall see PCI-E 2.0 - then run the integrated in AIDA benchmarks and you shall see that the information about PCI-E BUS type has changed to PCI-E 3.0.  ;)
