I recently purchased the parts to do myself a Mitx build, using a GA-F2A88XN-WIFI board and an AMD A10 7850K, only to find that I had to buy a FM2 CPU to flash the BIOS to get the 7850K to work with the motherboard.
As it is a new build i cannot use QFlash so i installed windows 7 and tried to use eBIOS#, it told me to download the latest version which i did from the Gigabyte site , and after installing it I checked the version and it was the latest.
When i tried again to flash the BIOS it came up with install the latest eBIOS and try again, my version is the latest, any suggestions on how to proceed before i slit my wrists. ;D

You need to use the EFI Flash tool in the ZIP file to update the BIOS before you can use @BIOS or the QFlash utilities. This is due to the newer BIOS Files being larger than the original BIOS.

As I have never flashed a BIOS before, how do I use the EFI flash tool and what do I do after

Anyone that can help.

you need to make a bootable USB stick and add the efi tool and the ROM file
