Title: GA-B75TN (rev 1.0) mSATA SSD BOOT
Post by: Gremlin on March 05, 2014, 07:10:26 pm
I read on Gigabyte's site that mSATA port on this motherboard  is for caching purpose of Intel® Rapid Start technology.
Does anybody knows if i can install windows 7 on 60GB SSD and make it bootable on B75TN motherboard?

No, I know that mSATA SSD have possibility to be booted from. But my motherboard (Gigabyte B75TN) is bothering me. On gygabyte site it is written that mSATA can be used for caching (ie Intel Smart Response) technology. But they haven't mention if mSATA on B75TN can be used for OS boot (like all standard SSDs and hard drives can).
Thanks anyway.
