Hi All, I have a Brix Pro GB-BXi7-4770R that came shipped with the F2 Bios and since receiving it Gigabyte have come out with both an F3 and an F4 Bios.
So I would like to update to the latest Bios which is currently F4.
I have created a bootable DOS USB with the new bios files but the Brix Pro will not let me boot to the USB.
I have tried selecting "Boot Overide" within the BIOS but the screen simply flashes when you press enter and nothing happens.
I have also tried to boot to the USB by pressing F12 and selecting the USB but it boots me to my OS.
I have tried this with countless different USB Drives (2GB, 4GB, 16GB, USB 2, USB 3) in every USB port on the Brix Pro and have tried them in my other machines and they boot to DOS perfectly.
I have never had this problem before with any of my machines, am I missing something?
Thanks for your help.

Are you set in BIOS your USB to be first to boot?.....and copy all files from BIOS file to USB?

Wow thanks for the links.
This info from one of the Youtube videos was the key!
"Important:
Booting from USB-Stick is only possible is the "CMS" is enabled in the BIOS ! In the BIOS goto "Boot" -- "CMS parameter" -- "Launch CSM" -- Enabled"
I would suggest Gigabyte make a note of this on the Bios Update page.
I'm now rocking the latest F4 BIOS!
Thanks so much ;D

Got the gigabyte brix pro i5. The latest bios jumps F4 to version 3.05. I'm at F2. Can I just go straight away to version 3.05. The file is less than a MB whereas all the previous F versions were 5 MB

I am having the same problem. Created a DOS bootable USB with both Rufus and HP USB app, still cant boot from the USB. I have enabled CSM - legacy and UEFI, set the USB to 1st in boot order. It boots straight past them to the windows boot drive. What have I missed?
My boot partition is GPT, does that matter?
