Title: X58-UD3R and Windows 8.1

Has anyone managed to install 8.1 with this motherboard?  I've tried it many times but it keeps telling me there's an unknown device and won't finish installing.  The CPU is an Intel 980X and I currently have Windows 8 installed..

The thing is it doesn't like the other OS installed. Disconnect the drive that has windows 8 on it.

Yes you should be able to dual boot but again I had problems with 8.1 an win 7 on another drive.

I had to redo win 7 and it did the same thing when 8.1 was on the other drive. Windows 8.1 doesn't like to play with the other OS.
