Title: Do I need a video card

Sorry for the very basic question. I am looking at a Gigabyte GA-Z87X-D3H motherboard to use with Intel i5-4570. Does that board have a monitor port or do I need to buy a video card?

Hi there,

that board has on-board graphic ports: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4518#ov and your choice of CPU has a built in GPU so you wont need a separate graphics card. Unless, of course, you are looking to do a lot of gaming in which case you may find the Intel graphics a little lacking.
