Hello,
Does any body know if the GA-J1900N-D3V will run Windows 7 32-bit. There are drivers available for Windows 7 32-bit, but all other references on the Gigabyte website refer only to Windows 7 64-bit.
The suggestion seems to be, that the BIOS of this board will only boot:
Windows 8 64-bit
Windows 8 32-bit
Windows 7 64-bit
Can anyone confirm the compatibility of Windows 7 32-bit with this motherboard?
Thanks very much for your help
Andy

What are looking at on the web site. If it is the bios notes. What it is telling you that you need F2 bios to run Windows 7-64bit.
It should run the 32bit OS just fine. Check to see which bios you have. I would update it if you don't have F2 just to be on the safe side.

Hi dmdilks,
Many thanks for your reply. Yes, it was the BIOS notes on the website that I was referring to, and indeed they do state that upgrading to the F2 BIOS enables support for Windows 7 64-bit. If I understand you correctly, you are saying that support for Windows 7 64-bit implies support for Windows 7 32-bit, is that correct?
Thanks again
Andy
