Title: Possibiliy of using i7-4790K on Z87X-OC, as a extension of 4790
Post by: Faster4Run on May 25, 2014, 02:41:27 am
It is coming soon that i7-4790K ( Devil's Canyon) will be available.  At the moment , the Gigabyte homepage shows us that the BIOS F8 of Z87X-OC supports the i7-4790. So, I really suppose that  coming 4790K will work as a 4790 on Z87X-OC with higher overclocking availability ( ex. x1.25 gear up ).

Plas advice me if you have any big idea/hints/tips.
