Title: P35K S/PDIF type
Post by: boomer on June 12, 2014, 11:34:07 pm
Hi there. Among the specs for the P35K it says:

Earphone-out (SPDIF)

Can anyone tell me if this is an optical or coaxial type S/PDIF? How is it activated in W7?

Cheers.

Ok. It turns out to be optical - a Mini-TOSLINK to be specific. It's the same type for all the other laptop models with S/PDIF as far as I can make out. It's self-activated (light goes on) when the sound driver loads.
