Title: Z87N-Wifi, SMART FAN went missing after easy tune update
Post by: tempe on June 22, 2014, 12:42:19 am
Hi, I update Easy Tune for the sake of @-bug. Now there is no smart fan in my new easy tune and hence no way to control fans. How can i downgrade back to older version of easy tune or where to obtain smart fan? I dont seem to find my old utility disc, nor i would like to downgrade since the bug earlier version had. What to do ?

Cant you control your fans in bios if not then you can downgrade by searching that easytune version or since you seem not to like the bug you had then live without it.

You can always try to uninstall and reinstall new version see if it helps. But I don't use software programs to control my computer I do it all manually thru bios or controllers.

Firstly Bios options are crap. Secondly, who likes to live with a bug that u cannot type @-mark (earlier Easytune captured special key bindings). But I found solutions myself: Gigabyte has moved smartfan under system info viewer. Autoupdate didnt install this so had to grab it myself. Maybe they could have mentioned this and saved some trouble.
