I use my motherboard with a DVI monitor, and it works just fine. Recently I bought a TV which I connected by hdmi. The TV automatically recognizes the signal (1920x1080p 60Hz ) and looks fine at first, but when something rapid is happening on the screen (fast-paced movie, game, or simply dragging a window across the desktop), the picture just "splits" horizontally.
It's quite hard to capture it but somehow I've manage to;

When connecting any other device (tablet, telephone, camera) through hdmi, everything's fine.
(Could buying a video card solve my problem?)

Yes buying a video card will solve that problem.

So that's it? Is it simply the motherboard's fault? Andit can't be solved? :(

No it is not it. You can try updated drivers if any, you can contact gigabyte tech support to see if they have any insight into this problem, Or you can wait for someone that uses onboard graphics and might of had this problem or similar to post their results. Plenty of options but to me the easiest one to solve is to get a video card.
The last line of your post was (Could buying a video card solve my problem?), So I answered.
