Title: h97n wifi not retaining smart fan settings

Hi,

I'm unable to find a setting in the app centre that will allow my smart fan advanced settings to be applied after a reboot. Is this not supported by my motherboard?

Let me ask how many pins are on the one fan header it looks like 4 to me in manual but it could be wrong and if it is 4 pin the fan you have hooked up to it is it 4 pin also and your cpu fan is it 3 or 4 pins?


The speed   control function   requires the use   of a   fan with fan speed control design

As I look thru it all it looks like the G1 gaming boards are the one that the app was built for.

Hi, thanks for replying.

The fan cpu header is 4 pin. Fan control works; i can change the fan speed from the smart fan function in app centre.
However all the settings are reset the moment i reboot the comp.

I understand that the previous motherboard version has a  "retain settings after reboot" option in the preference tab, but i can't seem to find it.
