my new board (bought last night) has the 760G on board video, I have a Geforce 9800GT card with 112 streaming processors..which is the better option to have enabled?

I have always found that using a video card frees up the CPU for other task and makes for a better computing experience. Only true way to tell is try it both ways and see which one you like the best. That is a very old card though. Was great back in the day but that was years ago.

Onboard video Radeon 3000 IGP is weak. The 9800GT is much better. Neither video solution supports DirectX 11. Radeon 3000 is DirectX 10.0 and the 9800GT is a DirectX 10.1 card.
