Title: GA-Z97N-WIFI - System Freezing during windows update

Just did a fresh build. Having issues when doing windows update though. Everything seems fine but then after the Win Update gets done downloading and starts the in install. The system Freezes up and I am forced to reboot.

GA-Z97N-WIFI Mainboard
Intel I3-4130T
EVGA 430W 80PLUS Certified ATX12V/EPS12V Power Supply
WD Red 3 TB NAS Hard Drive: 3.5 Inch, SATA III, 64 MB Cache - WD30EFRX
8 gigs of TeamGroup Inc. ted34096m1333mhz Elite CL=9-9-9-24
Win 8.1 64 bit

Im wondering if anyone else has run into this problem.

UPDATE:

I pulled one of the sticks of ram and this seems to have done the trick. Updates appear to be working and no more freezing so far.

The memory I have is in 2 sticks of 4 gigs. But this is not a dual channel kit.

Update to the Update: Middle of installing Chrome Screen gets all funky and freezes. Have to Restart. Runs fine for a while then does it again......

Any Ideas would be much appreciated thanks!

Memory was my issues. Problem solved! ;D
