Title: UEFI Bios: no ethernet before windows login
Post by: simon_stz on June 30, 2014, 03:04:41 pm
Hi everyone.

After update my GA-Z68X-UD3P-B3 mobo from legacy bios to UEFI bios I have this problem wut the ethernet integrated card:

WOL is working well, the computer turns on when the correct magic packet is sent, but after that, the network card is not full powered: The link and activity leds indicators don't turn on.

After introducing my user and password in the windows 7 login screen, the network card starts working as expected (power link indicator brights).

Is there any bios power setting to correct this behaviour?

The main problem is that i can“t remotely connect to my computer because the mobo turns off the ethernet card if not OS is present.

Thanks
