I just installed the F2A88XN-WIFI in my media center.
I get very bad download speeds when I use the onboard Realtek network adspter. Upload is good.
The onbord wi-fi works good, but I´d like to use the ethernet for higher speed on the local network.
I have updated the drivers for the Realtek GBE pcie, from bothe gigabyte download and realtek website, without luck.
Im using windows 8 64 bit and a Netgear CG3700EMR router.
Anyone know of performance issues with the onboard ethernet, and possible soulutions.
p.s I allso hace an unknown pci device (PCI-bus 0, enhed 0, funktion 2)

Did you install the Wlan driver that might be the unknown device. I would uninstall thru device manager your internet driver and any software and then restart and let windows install the generic driver. Then try to update it thru windows update. If that doesn't work or help then I am sure it is something to do with windows 8 and you might try updating to windows 8.1

I am running win8.1 not win8, sorry.
Tried installing lan wlan, both from gigabyte website and generic windows drivers. Same problem
I have now installed win7 instead of win8.1, and everything runs smooth.
I cane live with with this, because im mostly running XBMC. But I would like to know if anyone else have problems with win8-win8.1

The machine I have it on causes me more problems than windows 7 ultimate does. In windows 7 everything works on my i5 4670k running windows 8.1 I am always butting heads with it as a lot of the time it doesn't act the way it should.
