I have that board and it has been solid. That or the Z97 SOC FORCE is a great choice.

It runs cool so makes oc easy. when you do it just raise multiplier and not voltage. Leave voltage on auto it will add what needs to be added . Building is easy and if you go to auto oc it has presets for the 4770k and u can choose any one of them or set multi yourself.  When you go into bios the first time it will be UEFI and set your date and time and language then hit F2 to go to classic to overclock it.

You have to hit + and - on some of the settings to change them and others you just hit enter to bring up a sub menu. Once you get it just post if you have any questions someone is usually in here to help I am about this time or a few hours earlier each night also.

I use the i7 4790k in my gaming rig and I like it. What I like the best is I don't need to overclock to get to 4.0. When I first booted mine it was running at 4.489 I had to manually set multi lower to make it run at 4.0
