Hi,
I have an issue with a brand new GA-Z87M-D3H booting with a Xeon E3-1220 v3 processor installed.
The board wont post and gives a long beep followed by a couple (2 or 3) short beeps then nothing.
I first I thought it was a BIOS issue and had a 1st gen haswell, inserted this and flashed the BIOS to F9 with no issues.
Installed the Xeon back in and still nothing....
I have checked the following:
1. Bent Pins - All good, no bent pins.
2. RAM - swapped out modules and types - but dont think it is this as it booted with the Pentium G for the BIOS flash.
2. PSU connectors - as #2 dont think so as it booted before.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
BTW I cant seem to find a list of the BIOS beep codes for this board can some please help?
Cheers,
Matt

Thanks for the link terraCrumb!
Ok so this board is a fail for Xeon processors :-( Despite what the supported CPU guide says.
I have just tried with a Xeon E3-1230 v3 after a F10 BIOS update and still no joy.
Fail Gigabyte :-(
