Hello:
Anyone know how to implement "fast boot" in GA-990FXA-UD3 rev4 F2 windows 8.1, UEFI?
The fast boot option in the bios does not exist
Or it depends on the video card?
Motherboard: GA-990FXA-UD3 rev: 4 Bios F2
Micro:FX8350
Video:Asus R7250 DDR5:1g
memo: 12 GB Kingston 1600

Your board doesn't have the fast boot option in bios then it doesn't support it.

Thanks for the reply.
I hope it can be added in next bios
The board asrock 990fx extreme 9 has fast boot.
Both plates have the same chipset
I think, may be, it is possible to add

Is Gigabyte even supporting these boards now, i know that Rev4 hasnt had a new bios now in a year. F2 was released 2013/07/22.

Finally I installed windows 8.1 update 1 without fast boot
I have noticed:
Poor performance of windows 8.1 update 1 vs windows 7 x 64.
Question:
Is the operating system? Or is x motherboard?
