Hi all...I have a GA-Z77-D3H REV 1.1
I have just flashed BIOS to F22 and done a fresh Windows install, and deciding which drivers to install in giving me a massive headache. I go to the Windows 64 bit versions, and I just need to know which ones I HAVE to install? I've gone off on one and foolishly installed them all apart from the VGA driver that states my PC doesn't meet minimum requirements, but I have a GPU so not an issue? but still curious what's gone wrong there.
Could someone please kindly explain to me which ones I should of installed, as I have just finally installed the Chip-set Intel INF installation file, and then noticed on top in readme it states:
* Product: Intel(R) Chipset Device Software
* Release: Production Version
* Version: 9.4.0.1027
* Target PCH/Chipset: Xeon(R) processor E3-1200 v3,Intel(R) 4th Gen Core processor
* Intel(R) 8 Series,C220 Series
* Date: August 21 2013
And I have a i7 2700k Sandy Bridge...so should I not of installed that? Worried I've messed things up...during the INF installation my USBS and screen went off for a moment...is this still ok? Also the installation otes for the INF were so complicated I just ran the .exe in the end >.<
Also in device manager I have 2 yellow warning for:
SM Bus Controller
Universal Serial Bus controller...(These were there prior)
But I installed the Intel USB 3.0 Driver? So not sure what is going on!
At a loss here :(

flash to f23b then update audio driver, the inf file you need.
Intel Management Engine Interface
Intel INF installation
Atheros LAN driver
Etron USB 3.0 Driver
Intel USB 3.0 Driver
and if u use onboard graphics get the vga driver at bottom for your cpu.

Could someone explain to me how to install the INF file? Is simply running the .exe file ok?

Yes it is and it should be the very first thing you install after installing windows.
