Title: problem in bios F20 or F18 mother board GA-X79 UD3 rev 1.1

hello

in first sorry for my English not totaly perfect ..

My problem , I had this mother board ,but in the bios ,when i check the connection LAN , (there is proposed 10 Mbps ,... 100 Mbps ) ,never " 1000 Mbps " or Gigabit ...

and my home is totaly connecting in wire RJ45 Cat 6 and accept the Gigabit flow ... because with one friend of mine ,I have testing one CARD PCI , " and in the system ,when i check the kind of connection , it answers  me 1.0  Gbits/s connecting )

Or why in the bios F20 or and the older F18 ,there is not proposing this option

can you help me .

is what I must activate a choice in the BIOS to activate flow Gigabit, bus in the notice, are only registered "actived" however "Desactived."... nothing besides.

Don't have the same motherboard as you but I don't see why you would care about the bios setting of lan? It should be activated and resolve the connection speed by itself unless you for some reason need to force a slower speed. Do you have 1Gbit connection in Windows?
