Hello,
I am looking at purchasing one of the new X99 based Gigabyte boards, and have a few questions regarding the power management features.
Looking through both the overview of the new boards and the detailed specifications, I cannot find any detailed information on the specs of the MOSFETs, chokes, number of phases etc. Both Asus and MSI for example offer detailed specs on the various components and also the total number of phases. However, there is no such information on the Gigabyte product description pages other than brief descriptions of some of the advantages of the components they have chosen.
Is there any where I can find this information so that I can compare between Gigabyte's various offerings for X99? At the very least the number of phases each board uses?
Thanks!

i have the x99 gaming G1. it has 8 phase power, same as the asus x99 deluxe

Thanks for the response!
Any ideas what the details are for the SOC Force, UD7, UD5, UD4, and UD3?
-
SOC is 6 phase. i saw it at microcenter ondisplay. the others i don't know.
EDIT: i found this page that describes every board the offer in detail, including phase count .

Thanks again, do you mind if I get a link to that page?
I'm quite surprised to hear the SOC has so few phases (compared to competing products) - isn't it supposed to be Gigabyte's premier overclocking offering?

i thought i put the link in my last post. maybe it got removed?
but here is try #2

Thanks - I checked that link and it does indeed say 6 phases.
However, I've also asked on Gigabyte UK's Facebook page and they're insisting it's 8 phases. ???
Do any Gigabyte staff frequent these forums?

@Odaik
GA-X99-SOC Force, GA-X99-UD7 WIFI, GA-X99-UD5 WIFI all have 8 phases
GA-X99-UD4 & GA-X99-UD3 have 6 phases
Sorry for delayed reply, I can't read all posts here. It's better to PM me in future for any questions you may have. Thanks
