Post by: alucke on September 25, 2014, 07:35:23 pm
does the gigabyte ga-990fxa-ud3 rev 4 have a uefi bios, or dual bios?  I have 3 hdd's main drive 2tb's, second and third drives are 1tb.  if its dual bios, will the standard bios setup appear? or will it use the uefi bios?

Hi there,

The Rev 4.0 board has UEFI BIOS.

It also has Dual BIOS which basically means it has two BIOS chips. The main one which is normally used and a back-up BIOS which is there in case anything goes wrong with the Main BIOS.

Further information can be found about this motherboard here: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4672#ov
