Title: Gigabyte GA-Z87N-wifi System power

Gigabyte GA-Z87N-wifi, At cold boot system power cycles on and off with blu-ray drive installed. Cycling stops with BL drive tray open. Boots up fine with DVD drive installed.

Leave uplugged until booted then plug it in does it cause it to crash?

System does not crash when BL drive is connected after boot.

I would think it would be more a faulty BL drive and not motherboard or bios.

Have you tried testing with a different SATA cable?
