Hi guys,
I bought the R9 280x OC rev.2, two weeks ago, in anticipation of Shadow of Mordor.
Tried the following AMD drivers: CCC 14.4 or 14.9 (latest). Both end up flickering during gaming, over time.
GPU-Z: Max. core/mem (1100 / 1500), Max. voltage (1.2)
Any suggestions?
thanks,
Marc

I saw the same thing happening to mine (280X)
at this point I'm not 100% sure it's the card or the game
someone on reddit with an nVidia card reported similar texture flickering, so I'm inclining towards a game related issue

It is not a game related issue.
When i lower my gpu clock by 100mhz, making it a 1000mhz, i can play the game without any flickering.
In COD: MW i must lower it by 50mhz
I believe they need to make BIOS update ang give that gpu a little more volts to run at 1100mhz, or just lower it to 1000mhz

I have the same issue when playing elite dangerous, I drop my clock to 1000mhz and ir reduces the artefact. I would like to see a resolution for this. When I contacted gigabyte they told me I had to send card in....which is ridiculous as you can see in these forums this issue has been going on for sometime...and not with just the 280x.........GIGABYTE.......FIX IT

If you have the same card, 2.0, hynix memory, bios version F70, i have a solution for you. It works but it may void your warranty....
i did it and it all works flawless now ;)
