hey guys im bilding a new system with a 990FXA-UD3 and cant seem to get it to power up. all parts in the pc are new and i used to power supply jumper and the psu fire right up along with the fans i had connected to so i know the psu works. i also pulled the ram out of my old computer and put it in there still nothing, and iv checked the power switch connection along with all the other connections from the front panel and the psu. the only other thing i could think of is i got a Corsair h60 cooler and put that in but i tryed uplging it and connecting the stock cooler and still no luck.
im really aout out of ideas and would appreciate any help you can

Motherboard (990FXA-UD3)
gpu (Gigabyte GV-R928XOC-3GD REV2)
cpu (amd fx 8350)
cpu cooler (Corsair h60)
ram ( G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4gb sticks) 1866 mhz
psu (EVGA Supernova 850 B2)
hhd (1tb western digital blue carver 7200 rpm (this came from my old pc))

Two things come to mind no CPU pins are bent right?. The second is it takes bois F9 for that CPU.

Did you test the motherboard (etc) before mounting it a case?
I usually test new motherboards by placing them on a non-conducting surface and connecting the minimum amount of additional hardware required to POST and get into the BIOS setup to check things out.
I then ensure that the case I'll be mounting the 'board in has the exact number of stand-offs positioned to match the mounting holes in the motherboard and that there'll be nothing in there to cause a short.
Have you tried the Gigabyte GV-R928XOC-3GD REV2 in your old computer?
Have you tried your old computer's display card with the 990FXA-UD3 (Rev. 4.0?)?
