Title: GA 970X UD3P BIOS update
Post by: Tacoboy on November 15, 2014, 07:16:24 am
I just ordered a 970X UD3P motherboard (replace my current 970x UD3 v1.2).
Gigabyte released a BIOS up date (f2g) for the UD3P about 6 weeks ago (Oct 7th).
Think of updating the new UD3P to the newer BIOS?
So far is the F2g BIOS a relativity stable update?

What CPU do you have? If the board comes with the F1 and you are not having a problem. I would leave it a lone.

If you are running a FX-8370 yes you will need that bios. Because the Bios is there it doesn't mean you have to update it.

Bios & driver updates are there if you are having a problem. You can update what you want but if you not having problems don't update.

Because I have see more than once somebody is running fine they do a update and every thing goes wrong.
