Title: What does the debug led code "FE" mean? X99 UD5
Post by: swiftor on December 01, 2014, 05:35:19 pm
So my X99 UD5 boots into windows just fine, but the debug led shows FE. Just curious what it means. Looked it up in the manual and it shows as "reserved".

When I think FE, I think Fatal Error, haha - so I just want to make sure.

Thanks for any help!

"FB~FF Reserved". Boy that really tells you a lot in the book what a waste. The FF means "Fully Functional" that everything is working. I have many boards with that codes and in windows.

So if you are in windows and everything is work than I wouldn't worry about it. Yes you would like to know that. I know some boards will show the temp of the CPU once you get into windows. FE could mean Fully Enabled.

Haha - thanks! I guess I'll just not let myself be too concerned if it's all working.
