Title: GA-890GPA-UD3H with Cooler Master GeminII

is the newest GA-890GPA-UD3H compatible with the huge cooler master geminII cooler? does somebody have this combination? i heard on some boards this cooler can not be monted .

Hi there,

to be honest, this board is so new I doubt if you will get an answer from anyone regarding this, who actually knows. However, having looked at the design of the board, it looks similar to the majority of the recent AMD mobo's from Gigabyte so I guess you should be able to mount it. The biggest problem I can foresee is if you use RAM that has a large heat spreader.

the memories will be A-data Vitesta Extreme 1600+ with normal heatspreaders so should be fine.
