Title: computer will not start from keyboard or mouse

Hi,
     I've tried to set my GA-8IR533 to start with my keboard (preferably) or mouse, but it doesn't seem to work. I have the F5 version of my bios installed. Is there  a trick I'm missing here?

Hi there,

you need to enable the Power On By Mouse and Power On By Keyboard options in BIOS as these are disabled by default. You will find then in BIOS under the Power Managment Setup section. Check out pages 36 & 37 of your Mobo manual. (See my reply to your other post if you have lost your manual).

Hi Karma,
      Yes....... I've tried this a couple of times........both with the keyboard and  the mouse. (I think I need a keybaord with a start button, which I don't have.)  But the mouse button does not seem to work either.
